Pricing Questions
How is my price calculated from a photo?
The items in your picture are matched to the Nashville catalog, each with a set price, and you see the total before you book anything. Missed something? Add another photo and the total adjusts.
Is there a minimum charge in Nashville?
Yes, $75. One sofa at $126 or one queen mattress at $103 already clears it.
Will I pay more for a third-floor walk-up or a long driveway?
No. Stairs, elevators and long carries are built into every catalog price.
Does booking for today cost extra?
No. A same-day window, when one is open, is priced exactly like a pickup next week.
When does truck-fill pricing beat the per-item total?
Usually on garages, estates and furnished apartments. A quarter of the truck is $241 and the full 16-cubic-yard load $732; your quote runs both methods and uses the lower one.
On Pickup Day
How far ahead should I book?
Same-day is often possible, and next-day is common. For month-end move-outs and spring moving season, a few days’ notice gives you the widest choice of times.
Does someone need to be home?
No. Plenty of customers leave the garage open or share a code, and get photos once the crew is done.
Who shows up to do the work?
Vetted, insured local hauling crews who take jobs through JunkRabbit. Booking and messages go through us; the crew handles the truck and the heavy lifting.
Can you work with my condo building’s rules?
Yes. Send the certificate-of-insurance requirements and elevator or dock times when you book, and the crew schedules inside them.
Do you work in gated neighborhoods?
Yes. Add us to the visitor list or share the gate procedure; private roads are ordinary stops for our crews.
What the Crew Hauls
Can you pick up leftover paint cans?
Yes, each with its own handling price: $30 for a one-gallon can and $52 for a five-gallon bucket.
Do you remove hot tubs and pianos?
Yes. A hot tub is $322, an upright piano $290, and the crew size is matched to the job.
Can you take yard waste between Metro’s brush rounds?
Yes. Metro’s brush pickup only comes around four times a year; yard waste with us is $88 per cubic yard, any week.
Where does everything end up?
Usable furniture goes to charity first, appliances to refrigerant recovery and metal recycling, electronics to e-waste recyclers, and the remainder to licensed disposal.
Local Programs and Coverage
How does the Sheriff’s free bulk pickup work?
Davidson County residents call to schedule, set items at the front curb by 6:30 a.m. on the assigned day, and the crew has up to seven business days to collect. It refuses drywall, bagged items, tires, propane and hazardous materials, and it won’t enter gated or private streets.
What are Metro’s convenience centers?
Four resident drop-off sites — Anderson Lane, East, Ezell Pike and Omohundro — open Tuesday through Saturday for Davidson residents with ID. A few bags and one bulky item per visit are free; bigger loads and mattresses are charged.
Does the Sheriff’s program cover Franklin or Hendersonville?
No. It serves Davidson County only. Outside Davidson, bulky-trash rules are set by each city or county, so check with yours — or book a pickup with us at the same prices as downtown.
How far out from Nashville do you go?
All of Davidson County and the towns within about 30 miles of the Metro Courthouse, from Springfield and Gallatin to Lebanon, Smyrna and Thompson’s Station. See the full coverage list. In Murfreesboro, only the north side (37129) is covered for now.
