Junk Removal in
Green Hills
The shopping-and-condo district around the Mall at Green Hills and the Bluebird Cafe, where longtime homeowners are trading a big 37215 house for a low-maintenance luxury tower. Most of our work here is the downsizing move — a whole home lightened in one discreet trip — and the flip side, the move-in debris that comes with a brand-new condo. Send a photo, get the exact flat price, and we carry it all out.
Downsizing a whole home into a condo
Green Hills has become a landing spot for empty-nesters. The kids are grown, the four-bedroom off Hobbs or Estes is more house than anyone needs, and a new condo near the mall — walkable to shopping, a lock-and-leave lifestyle — is the next chapter. But you can't move forty years into a two-bedroom unit. Somewhere in that math is a garage, a formal dining set, a guest-room suite, a den's worth of furniture, and kitchen appliances that don't fit the new build. That's the job we do best: the whole-home downsizing cleanout, handled in a single day, where we take only what you're leaving behind and you keep your attention on the move.
We work it room by room so nothing you meant to keep gets swept up. The pieces still in good shape go to donation with a receipt; the rest is hauled and disposed of. And because it's all photo-quoted up front, the number you see is the number you pay — no on-site "let me take a look" markup while you're mid-move.
What we clear in Green Hills
- Empty-nester downsizing cleanouts — a full house lightened for a condo, furniture and appliances out in one trip, donation receipts for what's still good.
- Estate cleanouts — a family home cleared when an estate settles, worked carefully and discreetly, usable items routed to charity.
- New-condo move-in debris — packing waste, flattened boxes, protective wrap and the old furniture that didn't survive the move to the tower.
- Single heavy pieces — a sectional, an upright piano, a refrigerator or a treadmill carried out without a scratch.
- Appliance swaps — the old refrigerator, washer and dryer gone the same day the new set is delivered.

Moving into one of the new towers?
Green Hills isn't just houses anymore. The wave of new luxury condo buildings near the mall comes with lobbies, loading docks and freight elevators — and rules. Several of them require a Certificate of Insurance naming building management before any vendor uses the elevator, and the elevator itself is reserved in a window, not on a whim. We handle that end for you: we carry insurance, file the COI, book the window, and move your old furniture or your move-in debris out through the dock the way the building expects. Whether your address is a house on the hill or a fourth-floor unit above the shops, the price is quoted the same way and includes the building coordination.
Does Nashville pick up bulk junk in Green Hills?
Not from the curb. Metro Nashville has no free curbside bulk-item pickup — there's no set-it-out day for a sofa or a refrigerator. The city's route is self-haul: you load it and drive to a convenience center, such as Anderson Lane at 939A Anderson Ln in Madison or Omohundro at 1019 Omohundro Pl, where the first bulk item plus a cubic yard of extra trash is free and there are fees past that. They're open Tuesday–Saturday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and you can confirm details at 311 or 615-862-5000. That's a fine option for a single item you can lift. It doesn't touch a downsized home's worth of furniture and appliances, or a fourth-floor condo that has to go out a freight elevator — which is precisely why Green Hills calls us instead.
Why Green Hills homeowners call us
- One discreet trip. Furniture and appliances leave together, quietly, without a parade of separate visits during your move.
- Downsizing done gently. We work room by room so nothing you meant to keep disappears, and we protect floors and doorways on the way out.
- COI ready for the towers. Insured, with the Certificate of Insurance filed and the elevator booked before we lift anything.
- Donation receipts in hand. Good furniture goes to Goodwill of Middle TN, Habitat ReStore or the Salvation Army, and you get the paperwork.
- Flat price from a photo. No on-site estimate, no surprise for the stairs, the appliances or the drive.
What Green Hills customers say
"We sold the house off Estes and moved into a condo by the mall. They cleared the whole downstairs, the garage and my husband's office in an afternoon, took the old fridge and washer, and gave me donation receipts for the good pieces. One flat price, no drama."
"Our new building needed a COI before anyone could use the freight elevator. They had it filed the same day, booked the window, and hauled all the move-in boxes and our old sectional. Exactly the price they quoted from the photos."
"Settling my mother's home was hard enough without wrangling a junk hauler. They were quiet, respectful, quick, and donated what could be donated. I'd recommend them to anyone in Green Hills handling an estate."
